Konda Surekha Early Life
Konda Surekha was born in the city of Warangal, India to Thumma Chandramouli and Thumma Radha and she got married to Konda Murali. She did her B.Com from LB College, Kakatiya University in 1985. She started her political career from Mandal Parishad.

Konda Surekha was born on 19th August 1965 in the city of Warangal to Thumma Chandramouli and Thumma Radha and she completed her graduation from LB College, Kakatiya University. Later she showed interest in politics and joined a political party and gradually rose up in ranks.
Konda Surekha Political Career
Konda Surekha was elected as Mandal Parishad in 1995. The next year she was appointed as PCC Member. In 1999, She was elected as MLA from Shayampet. The same year she became a member of Women and Child Welfare Committee, Health and Primary Education Standing Committee.
In 2004, She got elected as an MLA from Shayampet again. In 2009, She got elected as an MLA from Parkal and sworn in as Minister for Women Development and Child Welfare, Disable and Juvenile Welfare. In 2014, She joined TRS party and contested from Warangal East Assembly constituency. She won as an MLA from Warangal. She has recently resigned from TRS party along with her husband and joined in Congress Party.
