Sobhan Babu was born on 14th January 1937 in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. His father’s name was Uppu Suryanaryana Rao and his mother’s name was Rama Thulasamma. He has a brother and three sisters. Sobhan babu completed his schooling at Kuntamukkula, Mylavaram and he completed his intermediate in Krishna District. After that, he showed interest in movies and went on to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
Sobhan Babu married Santha Kumari and they had a son and three daughters.
Sobhan Babu Career
Sobhan Career in the initial days was tough and he had to go through a lot of struggles. He was offered small roles with very remuneration. His break came with the movie Veerabhimanyu, After that, he never looked back and worked in many movies like Manushulu Marali, Chelleli Kapuram, Karthik Deepam, Jeevana Jyothi, Sampoorna Ramayanam, Sharada, Manchi Manushulu, Soggadu, Mosagadu, Devatha, Kurukshetram, Mallepoovu, and others.
He received many awards for his wonderful performance in movies. Sobhan Babu breathed his last on 20th March 2008 because of a heart attack.
